Anil Mondol stands in front his house on a Government land. Once the owner of more than 15 acres of land, he had to move to Ballalpur village on PWD land with his family in the year 2000 after all of his land and home was eaten away by the Ganges river. Currently he does not have any asset to his own name. Any day the Government can eradicate them from this land as by law they are illegal settlers. Ballalpur Village, Murshidabad, West Bengal. India.
