Kanta Devi is a embroidery worker at the main workshop of "Sadhana" in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. She gets .50 paise for each completed garment. In a month she manages to earn about Rs.1500.00 (35 usd approx). she is the only bread earner in her family as her husband diead few years back. From that time onwards she is supporting her children (one son, one daughter). She wants them to finish their graduation. Kanta devi said she is very greaful to Sadhna who train her and later giver her a job. She feels secure working at Sadhna and wants to continue with it. 24.1.2011. Arindam Mukherjee
